You won\'t believe this!!!

Monday morning at about 4 a.m., my brother-in-laws neighbor had his Banshi stolen out of his garage. The thief fired it up right out front and woke everyone up, so they called the police. The police chased this guy for over 3 hours. When they finally caught him, they went and searched his garage, this is what they found :

A pound of weed.
Two more stolen 4 wheelers.
Fifteen stolen lawn mowers.
Two stolen Harley Davidson's.
And one 1996 Blackmica ZX-9R... my bike!

The police came by to ask some questions about it. The guy (they wouldn't tell us who he was, or where he lived), had taken all the stickers off of it, filled off the I.D. numbers, but left my personalized "Micah" plate right on it... what an idiot!!!

Can't wait to find out who he is, don't want to go to jail over what I'd really like to do to him though/images/icons/smile.gif!!!

I read it was stolen in the fall. That pretty crazy finding it now. Do you know if its still in decent condition or did he trash it? Congrats on the return of the bike. Hopefully insurance doesn't make you give back the money.

yup, sounds like a good idea to a complete stoner retard, heck i'll just fireup this completely cold banshee and let it idle for a few seconds before i take off on it, what an anus bag. glad he got caught, and glad you got your bike back, let it go dude, he's a scumbag and hopefully the law will protect the rights of the citizens and he'll serve some time in jail. It's not the end of the world....you're gonna get your bike back!

Yeah, the insurance settled with me for $5500, minus my $250 deductible, so they have the title now. I called them up and they want the whole $5500 for the bike... but it's going to have a 'Theft Recovered' title now, so it won't be worth it to buy it for that much. It's at the police garage right now, the insurance guy wants me to call him by tomorrow if I want to buy the bike from them. But like you guys said, it's been in this guys hands since October!!! How the H*ll do I know what he's done to it, or what kind of unforseen damage may have occured to the engine since then.

I think I'll wait for the police auction, it'll go dirt cheap there... maybe even cheap enough to buy it back and sell it for a profit. This may sound a little cruel, but I've got my heart set on the 02 9R now. It's kind of like in 'Castaway', where Tom Hanks wife thinks her husband is dead, so she get's over him, even though he was the love of her life, and moves on to another man... I loved my 96 9R to death, but when it got stolen, I buried it, and now I'm fixed on the new improved model. And now somehow, my old 9R just doesn't have that same appeal anymore, am I sick???

But it is a huge relief to know what happened to it, now it's time to find out who the m*ther f*cker is!!!

I would call them and say " I'll give you 2500 for it...No? ... Keep it and get 1500 for it at auction.Minus storage,tow,shipping to auction and auction fees" THey'll sell it to you for like 1500-2000

When you find out what jail (if any ) [censored] will be in . Find out his cell mates name and start sending him cartons of smokes for everyone he lets buttream him. Makes sure they mention your bike

There have been three arrests so far in this case. Evidently, this garage was a chop-shop, dealing mostly with Harley's (I guess like 18 of them went through it last year alone). And it's not far from where I had my bike stolen last year. So he must've seen my bike as just too tempting to pass-up, but then didn't know exactly what to do with it after he got it home.

I'm glad he decided to fire up that Banshee in the middle of the night though, I feel a little safer about my next bike aroung town now that he's been shut down. Kinda freaky that a major operation like that was going on in a little town like this (40,000 people).

I had no idea that stolen lawn mowers were such a hot commodity either?
