So is there anyone else on this site that is from the Boise ID area? And are they as anxious as I am to have the warm weather back and have a riding season start. I sucked it up last weekend when it got close to 40 degrees, but quickly realized that when you get on Hwy 84 and go triple digits that the 40 rapidly drops to what feels like the teens. I was painful, even with leathers. This is what makes me miss Vegas.

Oh don't get me wrong, I've gone out in this cold a few times. And your right Funky, the R6 loves the cold weather. Nice and snappy on the throttle. But it's my @$$ that doesn't like the sub-zero temps. You know it's cold when you go to squeeze the clutch and your fingers creek like a hard wood floor in an old house. Let alone the fact that it's as painful as hell. But I'm sure Nucking will ride no matter what. She has been with out a bike for 6 months and will do anything to get back in the sattle. I just hope she is the same way with me and my "sattle". /images/icons/tongue.gif However her bike may not be out of the shop in time for her to get a ride the first few days she is home. I guess she'll have to settle for a ride on me......./images/icons/smile.gif

Yah...triple digit speeds in this cold air suck. I'll hit 84 and ride into Eagle to my parents house and run inside to put my hands under warm water upon arrival. Very painful.

4REAL...I hope to get a shitload of riding in with you two this year. Everyone I ride with are fair weather, not real hardcore.

Wow someone else in Boise!!! I live in the Nampa area. Funkymonkey and a few others live around and ride. I heard it is going to be in the 50's in a couple of days so I'm going to take the bike out soon.

Ahhhh. I took Mille out for a ride today (55+ dgrees)for the 1st time this season, you should have seen all the out- of-town skiers eyeing me in my yellow/blue Spidi 1-pc and my Yellow Aprilia Mille R - "...what's that guy doing riding in the "dead" of ski season??". It was almost better than sex!!! I just love the heart beat of that woman ... oh no, reality check, My wife is reminding me that the Priller is the only HOT Italian Exotic that I'll ever get between my legs and that we're expecting snow again Sun & Mon up here in Vail, CO. Damn ( but it was worth the ride). I think I need a smoke now!!!
