I may be getting a offer to transfer out in the Ontario area from here in Denver. I'm trying to find out a little about the area. Such as, interested in the cost of living, good areas to live (with in commuting distance), on a map it looks like it may be pretty close to some good twisties.

Anything else you can tell me about it?

'The 909' is such a mean-spirited nickame for such an... uh... unusual place, Novos.

I think they prefer 'Valley of the Dirt People'

Are you talking about Ontario, Oregon? If so, there are a lot of good twisties in there but watch out for some of the national park passes as they load to gravel on the road during the winter. Also, if you ever head up to Spokane, stay on the back roads, they're fast and twisted :waytogo:

You can ride 11 months out of the year, Great weather. Their are great roads in
the area My favorite is Angeles Crest Highway, 30 minutes away, also Glendora Mt Road
15 minutes, Palamar Mt 1 hr & manny more roads within 1 hours ride. Great for a days ride
Like any city there are areas that you don't want to live in. Close to the Mts if you like the snow, Close to the beaches, Close to the LA theaters, lots of shopping malls. So it can be a terific area depending on your interests

Finally a decent reply. /wwwthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif

So, where would be a good area to live (that I can research on the net) with in commuting distance (Say, 30-45min. drive) from Ontario?
