I got very little reponse on the appearel(SP) section, hope you guys can be of help. I am on my third set of gloves and really need a good pair of waterproof gloves with armor protection. Any ideas? My Teknic's and Tour master were not the trick.

I have some OSI gloves that are on their second winter and still totally waterproof. They don't have much armor though. I've tried a lot of winter gloves (Tourmaster, Fieldsheer, and Motoport are ones I recall) and most only last one winter - sometimes less - before they start leaking.

Whre did you get them? You are right most gloves are great for about 1 riding season and then start leaking. I looked into some Alpinestars, Spidi and Kushitani. Some look that they might work, but there is a great marketing ploy to get you to buy two pairs of gloves. It seems that you need to buy summer and winter ones, there is nothing in between. What every happened to Spring/Fall weight models? Oh well, off to spend another $50-100 bucks. Thanks again!

I bought the OSI gloves at a local moto shop. Like I said, they don't have armor but there is a velcro wrist strap, and at least with winter gloves the insulation serves as some padding (better than nothing).

Yeah, gloves are a racket. I go through more gloves than anything. I've had the same helmet for 3 years, the same Aerostich for 5 years, and the same boots for about 5 years as well. But I swear I buy 1-2 pairs of gloves every year, and not one one of them has evern been what I would call perfect. I wish Aerostich made gloves. with kevlar armor and Keprotec fabric you could probably make some pretty protective gloves without using any leather. No?
