Hey guys, what did you use to get the stickers off of your tank? I have been picking away at them but I know there has to be a better way. Did you guys use like a 3M adhesive remover?

Thanks in advance.

Heat gun or hair dryer, loosen them with heat and pull gently so you can get the whole thing up in one fail swoop. Whatever is left remove with like mineral spirits or WD40 or something... Then just wax where the stickers were after.

As quoted from Motorcyclist,

Gently heat the sticker with a blow dryer to softn the adhesive sufficently, and use your fingernai to see how well the adhesive is giving up. If it wants to tear apply a little more heat. Once the sticker has been removed, clean up the residue with a shot of WD-40 or Goo Gone (like mentioned by airman)

Actually that was more of a summary /images/icons/wink.gif
