I , like the rest of us racing fans just watched the 200. Apart from all the ads ( I know they are the ones that pay for it) it was well covered. The on board cameras was the best I have seen so far. The part that pissed me off the most was all the talking at the begining of the race with no time left to interview the riders at the end. This was done on all the races on Friday as well. I think if anyone else agrees we should tell speed channel so they know how we feel. enough said, later.

I really enjoyed the coverage , the part where it was two laps left and they cut away to Despain and some guy that won in the '70's was perfect timing because I sure was not interested in seeing the racing part of the brodcast./images/icons/mad.gif And what about that new guy with WSC he sounds like Drebber on Prozac, how dry can you get ? What the hell happened to Leigh Diffey(?) And I agree with you sparky they could have cut into the CRAP or CART pre-race to cover the post race events at Daytona. This is getting very discouraging for next season because, they could have brodcast both WSC races at 8 and 9pm while they were reairing the CRAP race that had just went off at 6:30pm. Maybe I don't understand the broadcasting game well enough.

I thought the coverage was pretty good. Plus it was shown live which means we didn't have to wait until Tuesday to see it.

The reason they couldn't stay for after race interviews was the LIVE coverage of the CART race in Mexico/images/icons/wink.gif.

As soon as he started talking I asked "Who is this dork?". /images/icons/laugh.gif Maybe he won't last long. Maybe.

The best two commercials were for the Yamaha R1 and Yamaha Warrior. The R1 commercial was like a sweet action movie and the Warrior had a bunch of hard-core looking bikers crying while the Warrior was smoking the rear tire doing a brake torque....awsome!!
