Over the years I have tried many different soft luggage options and always had reservations about how they attached and fit the bike. My problems with tail bags really came to a concern when a friend of mine had his come loose and wedge between the tire and swingarm. This resulted in a very long skid and blown tire. Luckily he kept the bike upright but it was a 'seat pucker' moment. I recently recieved a RocketLocker tailbag and the attachment system is by far the most secure I have seen. Once mounted to the seat the seat then locks in the normal manner to the bike. No collection of staps or bungees to damage the body work or hassle with out on the road. An absolutely elegant and simple solution. The construction quality is at least equal with the top bag makers. This is a small company and when I ordered my bag I talked directly to the owner who was very sincere about my needs as a rider. Service was top notch and the bag arrived quickly.
