Your best bet is to fix your license plate to be more visible. Although the blinkers may be visible, they're still illegal. Most cops won't bother you, but they will pull you over for the plate, and probably write you up for the blinkers too while they got you. Just ask our resident ball buster cop VTL1180! /images/icons/crazy.gif

Here in Fort Collins (a college city where every preppy prick has a GSXR or an R6) the cops don't tollerate much. I was pulled over about a week after i installed the blinkers, the cop said that my tire looked a little to worn so he thought he would check. He never said anything about my plate or blinkers, so if i can get away with here i can't see any problems.

You'll get away with it anywhere but in New York City, where the infamous VTL patrols the streets looking for just such things! In my experience, the cops generally won't bust your chops unless you're really doing something stupid. Let's face it, 85% of us have completely illegal lights, exhausts, and so on........ /images/icons/crazy.gif

Then again, the infamous Crudmop once pulled a wheelie all of 50 feet in front of a cop in a parking lot. The cop didn't even have to drive over to him, he just put the lights on! Somehow, Crud got off the bike, and pretended to be inspecting it as if something had gone terribly wrong, forcing the bike to wheelie uncontrollably. This actually worked, as the cop just shut his lights, and never even bothered to get out of the car! My guess is he was probably laughing too hard to get out and act serious! /images/icons/tongue.gif

Good point, that is why the mid pipe to my RSC ti pipe is wrapped with header tape so you can not read the "For Race Use Only" he he. I just tell them that the pipe melts my shoe so i wrapped it up.
