bike seems to ride fine at lords specs...

Just to keep down any confusion, Those aren't Lord's specs. LordJim was giving us the factory specs, which, according to him (and just about everyone else) are way too high.

The manual gives Max tire pressure wich is generally way to high for most use. It usually sugested only for when you have heavy loads and are just trying to get from poit A to point B. Now, 30/32 seems a bit low to me but I haven't been on a 51.
The F4 manual also gives front/rear as 36/42. I use 34/36 on the street (I used to use a bit higher but found out this is better through further experimentation)

Thanks JXL. I didn't think this would cause any confusion. I read the question as "what are the factory tire pressures?" and that's what I gave.

I don't run those pressures. On the street I run 33 front and 33 rear for normal back road runs, and If I'm going on a long highway ride (aka no fun) I'll bump it up to 34 front and 38 rear.

On the track, these numbers go out the window and I run 31 front and 30 rear.
