You guys ever seen this in real life?
I just saw a pair at Ebay.
Looked kinda cool.

It's just a brushed aluminum case right?
Should polish up nice?
Or maybe get that Therma-Coat stuff that looks like chrome.

I don't want my low-buck pipes to get out of control though.
=D

Fob, I cored and polished the stock cans from my 996. I did it just to see what they would look and sound like, after all I had a set of Arrows on the bike. I was surprised at how much I liked them. Start off with 400 grit sand paper and work up to 1500-2000 grit paper and then use some Mother's. Took me around 5 hours each can to polish alone but they looked good when I was done.

If I'm shootin at ya and ya stay still, your probably safe.

Try this for polishing smaller parts... you couldnt do a swing arm or frame like this, but you could do the pipes.

When I polished my 3" foot peg extenders which moved the right peg further out over the high pipe on my last bike... I just used a grinder. I used a cloth wheel with a lot of wet flour of pumice (about 50micron size). Polished up pretty quick, then finished with a leather chamois wheel with rouge.

I've thought about polishing my heat shield, but Nah... Ducs dont look good in shiny stuff... Ducs like CF.
