I went ahead and ordered ohlins replacement springs for my forks, and a Matris dampner with a two bros mount kit
springs $85.00..... Matris M-3 street dampner ( can`t justify another 80 bucks for the race version) besides the R6 handles so well anyway..$379.00.. I`m thinking about a ohlins rear shock in the next couple of months, but I`ll have
to check with the V.C!!!!!( hatchet wound, snap, QBOU,) I just might have to service her to get that goodie!!!!!

If your going to spend the money buy a penske. They're Lighter and they're a better shock. But this is just my oppinion. But ask around. Ask the true racers to see what they'll tell you.

Thanks for the oppinion, I was just trying to stick with the same brand, and from the same distributor, I have`nt heard of an offer from penske for front springs. Do they even make`m??? I used fox suspension out back on my dirt bikes since they offered both front and rear parts..

Tell me again why you want to have matching suspension parts. I have racetech up front and penske shock on the back.

klr- where did you get your solo tail? What is it made of?

I guess i could've asked this before, but did it bolt up directly like
the OEM one, or did you fab to "fab" it to get it to stay in place?
Can you use your taillights w/ it?

Just like dealing with one company as far as replacment parts and help with set up.. I understand where you are coming from..

No it's a pain in the ass. I had to cut the trunk and other stuff. Not really worth it. Looks somewhat nice, but it is a pain in the ass to put on.
