Fellas, A friend of mine picked up his new ride today and is thinking about a nice high mount for it. (won't be putting it on right away) Anyways, any suggestions or pics? It's the silver R1. I thought the MIG's were nice. BTW, he wants to keep the rear peg. He's not looking for number's, (I know, I know) but a nice pipe. Thanks in advance guys and gals.

Whomever's bike that is, I am ENVIOUS. It is stunning. I am getting my 02 R1 in 2 weeks and want to change out the pipe, but heard a slip on was recommended so as not to upset the EXUP Valve. I posted this in here somewhere but can't seem to find my post or any replies. Ok so my question, anyone with a 2002 R1 go to a full system, and to what detriment has this mod created? I have to keep the rear pegs as the wifey said that was a condition of me getting this bike so she can come along sometimes. What other minor mods would be recommended for my bike? I do want new bulbs that produce greater candle-power, but other than this I am at a loss for mods. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. If anyone knows of a High-Mount exhaust system for an '02 R1 that does not require removal of the rear pegs, please send me a message. Thanks in advance for all info.

Micron, Quill, Devil, MIG, LeoVinci are all hi-mounts that will retain the pegs.
Done right - An Akro full system will not have that much of a "detriment". The overall power increase would be noticable with the PC3 or equivalent. It's just a matter of cost. (Therefore - I have a slip-on.)
I would suggest - smoked ZG-DB windscreen or equivalent. Some flushies. (I'm kinda partial to mine and they were CHEAP!) A steering dampener. GOOD TIRES!!! (Friends don't let friends ride on 207ZR's!)
Come to Cali with the Vegas People on 4/15.
The money saved with the SlipOn can help pay for this other stuff!

So do I understand you all correctly, that I can get whatever slip-on I want and get an S-Bend pipe as well. Where would I find an S-Bend pipe? That has opened some other options. Thanks all.
