OK fellow Kawis, I want your input. I am thinking about schemes for adding decals to my 9R. Right now it is solid yellow with a black frame (being assembled). I found an image of another 9R, same basic year as mine, that is yellow with a black frame. I have been using that and Paint Shop Pro to play around with the design.

So, take a look, tell me what you like, add your own stuff, whatever!

i really like the yellow for sure...it's different in the least, as for the graphics...ehh, i'd get a real tapeworks kit, they gotta have some better than the last 2 ideas you showed

I actually LOVE that SOLID yellow!
A Tapework kits with some subtle flames may look good.

I kinda like the solid yellow too, but check my bio for my scheme. It's just a 01 OEM decal scheme, but maybe it will give you some ideas.

Of the bunch, I like the pic with the black lower the best. But that yellow is blinding!

Keep it plain yellow...Maybe polish the frame, but don't put on any of the decals, you get sick of looking at those kinds of paterns after a while, plain solid colors have way more staying power....

Yeah Willie, I am definitely not a graphics artist! They are just rough concepts of ideas I have.

I also agree that the solid yellow looks good too, I may just leave it that way, with no markings at all. Plus, it might draw more attention that way since a casual observer will wonder what the he** it is.

I also agree that I would probably get tired with a strong graphics scheme eventually. Thanks for the input guys. I should have pictures of the real thing soon. In fact I was out in the garage this afternoon painting the frame. It has been a long time coming.
