actually, if you put it in career mode and get 1st on pro or better, you will unlock in game "cheats" and videos, bike, drivers, etc.

but, I'm sure there are cheats to unlock stuff.

THQ announces MotoGP 3 for Xbox and PC

THQ announces that Climax is working on the third motorcycle racing game in its popular series for both Xbox and PC.

THQ has announced that MotoGP 3, which will be known as MotoGP: Ultimate Racing Technology 3 outside of North America, is currently in development at Climax. Scheduled for release during the third quarter of 2005, the game will purportedly feature photo-realistic race circuits and an all-new gameplay mode--details of which have not been released at this time.

"I am delighted that we are continuing to work with Climax on a brand like MotoGP," said Ian Curran, vice president of European Publishing at THQ. "We have had considerable success with MotoGP and MotoGP 2, and our agreement with Climax provides an exciting opportunity to develop a gripping racing game with more real tracks, riders, and equipment than ever before--giving gamers and MotoGP fans an ultimate interactive gaming experience."

"We are so proud and delighted that THQ has once again chosen Climax as their preferred development partner," added Karl Jeffery, CEO of Climax. "The new game promises to extend the hugely successful MotoGP franchise and set the new gold standard for the online racing genre."

We'll bring you more information on MotoGP 3 as soon as it becomes available.

Cheats and Hints

Game Title: Moto GP 3
Platform: Playstation 2
Hits: 558
Last Update: 17/12/04

Braking:
You can use front and rear brakes. The rear brakes are optimized when steering
your bike during drift, but it will increase your braking distance. The front brakes is
like full/complete brakes. When racing on tracks which require limited braking
distances the adjustment of this brake is imperative.

Leaning backwards will cause the bike to under steer and send it into the corner,
but leaning forward will cause the bike to lose speed when exiting corners, but
your turn-ins will get better.

Challenge mode:
There are over hundred separate challenges which will unlock many items once
they have been beaten. Items you can obtain range from real-life pictures to
hidden characters. Notable hidden characters include Jake Slate from Namco's
Dead to Rights. The game has a total of 41 bikes of which 12 are immediately
available.

Simulation mode:
When playing the game with this mode, remember that you're playing a more sim-
like game. Therefore if you lean too far over, your rider will topple over and fall.
This mode should only be played once you have relatively mastered gameplay
mechanics.

Turns:
When entering a turn you want to shift your weight forward so you can maximize
steering, but when accelerating out of a turn your weight should be shifted back so
you can give your rear wheels more traction.

I agree, enjoy the game, beat the challenges and you won't need any cheats. Motogp3 is what keeps me alive in the winter since I cant ride, that and buying things for my bike. I play motogp 3 way too much. I have beaten rossi on the honda of course, the m1 and gsv-r. Pretty pathetic. Next I will attempt to beat him on one of the 2 strokes. This is over the course of the season mind you. I don't see one of the 2 strokes being able to beat the 4 stroke monsters though. So I guess you could say my accomplishments in motogp are better than rossi's, I have won the title on 3 different machines!
