My brother is about to get an 02 620ie and was wondering what pipes everyone recommends. there is a guy who use to live in my condo complex that had a Monster Dark with twin pipes that each had dual exhaust ports, does anyone know who supplies these? He will be riding his bike in Cali if that does sway the reply to these questions. Anyone out there have a 620ie that has done the dual disc conversion? How much of a difference is it? he wants to get the light fairing / bikini for it as well. Well thanks in advance.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the 620ie is illegal in California? I seem to remember my brother-in-law trying to find one at the Ducati dealer in Sacramento and they told him you can't get 'em here. That may have changed for '02 though.

Yeah I have been to visit my bro a few times and have traveled to a few Duc dealers and all had 620 and 750 monsters. I do know some dealers say X-bike is not allowed here to try to turn you onto a vehicle they need to move off the showroom floor. Sales Tactic I guess but all the same just a guess.

I'm glad we agree about that, but I didn't say anything since I didn't know if you had any buddies over there.

LOL...I have *no* friends at the local dealer... /images/icons/smile.gif I don't have a boxer, (I wear them, tho) I've got two Aussies. The boxer on monsterhooligans is my friends Higgie and Ducgirl's dog named "Desmo." He's got a real clean '95 900ss and she's got a real sweet Monster with a SSSA. Lemme know when you're gonna be in town and we'll meet up....
