um, no. i can't sleep. the funny thing is, i couldn't sleep when i decided i might buy one. so i lay in bed tossing and turning thinking about how in the hell i'm going to pick one up. so i did. /images/icons/laugh.gif
now i sleep better but not well knowing i can just hop over to the dealer and stare at it.

Is it actually gold? From pics it looks copperish. I would love it if it was a ruster orange. One other pic that I saw made it look brown. I think I am going to get the Green.

Congrats Man! I have also purchased the gold ZX9R. First Crotch Rocket ( is there a better description?) I have Owned. The color sold me, I bought it sight un-seen... Its beautiful. 45 miles is all I been able to ride in SE Michigan, winter has returned.

Hey, great choice. Take it easy with her(at first), and
break her in properly. She will love you for it in the end.
I don't much care for this years colors, but then again I
have yet to see one of the 2002 models in person, and that
makes all of the difference. Although, there are alot of
varied opinions out there, I believe it's hard to go wrong
with the ZX9R. Welcome to the ZX9R experience.

I was undecided about that color - and still haven't seen it on a 'nine, but the dealer has a Mean Streak in copper and I really like it now.

Break it in well, and enjoy!
