Just picked mine up today. I know it's a new item for the Joe Rocket catalog but any feedback? It's should be perfect for riding those 85+ degree days where I might have been inclined to ride w/o a jacket.

I have the black Reactor. That and the Phoenix are the only jackets I have worn that are tolerable in the 90* Florida heat. I had a Phoenix before and it saved my skin when I went down at 50mph. The jacket was toast but it did it's job. I highly reccomend both of them.

I'm about 5'10 155lbs, and got the medium Reactor jacket and medium Phoenix pants. They are nice and cool and the pants are roomy enough to wear over ordinary trousers. There is removeable dual density armour in the shoulders, back, elbows, and knees. there is also sewn-in armour in the back, shoulders and arse. The quality is OK for the price, unfortunately the zippers are crappy. I wish they sprung for a YKK zipper at least for the main one so it doesn't pop open if you hit the deck. The mesh is tough, but I doubt it would last long in a slide. But much better than nothing. It's the only gear I have - no way can you wear leathers in Houston humidity/heat.

Good to hear that the Phoenix stood up well in a crash. Anyone else have crash reports?
