Great shop! They don't pressure you, always get back to you promptly, know their stuff and if they don't they wont fake it. They won't sell you something if you don't need it and will give you other options if they think it would be better.
They have great prices on just about everything.
UP1: PM me with your location. I will call them tomorow and see if they have another one like mine.
What size do you wear in the Arai? Have you tried on on?
I wear a large in the AGV and most other helmets. I wear a medium in the Arai Astral-X.
You should find one of the same helmet locally and try it on as the different models of Arai have different shell sizes.
The dealer can ship it to you directly from the shop. Also send me your phone # so that you can deal directly with them.
Pimmie: I was waiting for the new generation Shark's but, I came across this deal and couldnt pass it up. I also hear that the new Sharks cost a boat-load.
I was also concerned that several dealers around here are dropping them because they had a hard time getting helmets and replacement parts. Generally, they were having troubles dealing with the importers. I've been waiting for 4 months for my helmet to arrive (just so I could try it on for size).
I just called my hook and he said he has another Astral in the same size and color as mine. He also has it in the black. He can mail it to you from the shop.
They have more models than the Astral so, just PM me and let me know what you are looking for.
It's a darn good price IMHO.
GS would be more than welcome to stay at my place should he get down this way.
If you have other helmets that you would be interested in, I could price shop around for you and send you a list. I thought the dollar was strong?? Should be cheaper to buy in Canada.
:808918-ot:How's the heatwave up there?  I thought it was cold around here
Our dollar = strong. Your dollar = weak. Therefore we get the best deals stateside.
Besides; the largest Canadian importer, Parts Canada, sets the prices for most of the country. And they set it high. A PCIII is $750 CDN (eqv $625 USD) - so I bought mine from Parts411 and had it shipped up here for $257.73 USD ($314 CDN).
We just hit the "heat" this morning - it was nasty freezing rain this morning turned into thundershowers for the afternoon and will be well above freezing tomorrow - only to all freeze for Friday. :808908-wtf:
