According to the R6 manual,

total amt = 3.7
without oil filter replacement = 2.64
with oil filter replacement = 2.85

So how much oil do I need for a full oil and filter change?

I'd say buy 4 quarts. i always used just a little over 3 on my F3. And if you don't use all 4 the probably doesn't go bad. Always add as little as possible then add till your at the mark and don't over fill because too much is worse then not enough.

You will need just under 3qt. I just changed mine yesterday.
