Ok....I have no Idea what this thing is but my some wants one for XMAS..

One question....can the GameCube v.90 Modem adapter be used with a cable modem?

The only descriptions I can find talk about pluging it into a phone outlet..that aint gonna happen..so can it be used with a cable modem
