I have a 1999 ZX7r and currently trying to replace tires. I was able to remove the rear wheel and replace it. I seemed to have no luck with the front. I removed the two screws in the front of each fork but the main right nut won't budge. Am I forgetting to remove something first ?

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Nope, the axle is two pieces. It is easier to leave the right side fork screws tight until the axle is loose from that side, then loosen then up. The axle can be very tight.

Make sure that the end you're trying to turn isn't the axle end (large hex) because you will definitely have to apply much more pressure to break it free. The end with the small hex opening is actually the nut end which will give way much easier! /images/icons/cool.gif
