I am looking to get headlights for my 2002 R1 that are "super white" bulbs. Anyone know where i can get some. Is the R1's headlamps H4 bulbs? If so isn't h4 and 9003 bulbs the same. So could I just buy some 9003 at autoparts store?
You can get PIAA's and pay some bucks - OR -
You could do what I did and follow the advice of MOMO - http://www.tricktape.com Get the SuperBrites - $19.99 for the pair!!! You can't beat that !
I went w/ the piaa Super Whites. W/ in 6 months both bulbs burnt out.
I sent them back to Piaa (with an explaination) and within a week, i had a new pair.
No problems since (kock on wood).
38 bucks a pop there, bottle nose!
The first time i put them in i broke one, cause i sat down on it.
It went "crack" like dat, is sounded like i pencil, but I'm alright. /images/icons/wink.gif
I put the PIAA Super Platinum bulb's in my R6. They look so much better than the stock bulbs. They are also rated at 110/130 and they are incredibly bright.
Anybody know how high of wattage bulbs you can safely put in your R1? I know in cages when you use 100w plus bulbs it seems as they want to sell you an auxiliary wiring harness. I guess to keep the stock one from melting down. I want to upgrade my bulbs with higher than stock and wondered how much is too much?
Why are Suzuki's so ugly?
