My friend has a 98 GSXR600 yellow/black and he's trying to thing of some more mods he can do to it. So far he has a Leo Vinci cf slip on, flush mounts up front, turn signals integrated into taillights, and he cut the fender. Can anybody help with some more possible mods both cosmetic and performance? Thanks.

Undertails are really nice looking IMO. I'm sure he has a new windscreen. What about a polishing or painting the rims? Performance wise would be get a jet kit on it. Even though it only has a slip on it will still help it run much better. Also another thing would be suspension upgrades like stiffer front springs and a fox or ohlins rear shock. And lastly if he really needs to waste some money he could get a set of new lighter wheels.

I have a K&N on my 750 and I didn't notice a differance under normal conditions where I really notice it is when i'm in sixth gear and I grab a chunk the bike is far more responsive I can tell it's getting plenty of air and it picks up and moves faster now.

i dont think the K&N filter took anything away from my 01 YZF600R....but to be honest I add it in when I had a jet kit installed to so I don't know for sure...but after i had the jet kit and filter in, it seemed as if the RPMs moved faster once they got in the powerband than the did before.
