??????? I've been trying to host a little lame stunt vid that i made for bout 3 weeks and the server of choice or my pro e-mail account woun't let me transfer the file. Anyone know another site i can host a video. The vid is of a dirt bike.

It's 227 MB and about 3.3 minutes long.

I was going to offer to host it for you, but on my slow-ass server, it would take about 3 years to download.

I have a 4 min vid up on sportbikes.dhs.org that's twice the res as my new one and a min longer. I just can't get my pro e-mail server to transfer it, or get it to transfer to the site when downloading it directly. The size is 640X480.

Here's one I made that's over 4 minutes long at pretty good quality and it's "only" about 50MB. What file format is yours in?

It's in MPEG Format. I can't even get it to load by compressing it wich i'm doing right now.

Can you make it a WMV instead of an MPEG? It should be a lot smaller that way. If you can't do it, maybe you can FTP it to me and I'll give it a shot.

I can't think off hand of a way to change a video format. I think none of my programs can do that. I know ways but it can take up to a hour to redo the movie and change the format. Anyone know how?

I use Movie Maker. I think it will convert an mpeg to a wmv, but I haven't actually tried it.

Movie maker what? Microsoft, Sony,,, I have no idea. I'm still trying.

The Movie Maker program that's part of Windows XP. You should be able to import your video, then save as a smaller WMV file.
