Anyone know of a good racing glove under $200 with studs in the palm and solid protection?

You might be able to find a pair of Helds for that. I know they come with studs on the palm - Backed with Nomex!!!!

I popped onto their site and it looks like the 2114 Akira glove fits the bill:

They dont have studs on the palms but my spidi carbotechs are friggin nice and less than $200.

The Held 2277 Race gloves are $180 with studs on the palms. Great fitting gloves, very comfortable with the kangaroo palms. No carbon knuckles.

No studs, but they have Kangaroo palms. Teknic Speedstars. Nice, nice.

Just a question, why would you want studs in the palm?

Other than that my vote is for Alpinstars GP Plus. You can get them ranging from $161 and up. Also check E-bay you never know what you will find that is new on there for sale cheep.

I am probably a lot faster than you think you are!!!

man.. for $200 you can buy just about any gloves... Some people say they dont like studded because when sliding they can heat up. Teknic carries nice gloves and their most expensive is only 160. I think the site is Teknicgear.com

aye, I've got a pair of Technics, not sure which model, but they're very comfortable with nice protection. They were like $110 or something.
