k, just finished up the MRE safety course (highly reccommended) and passed fairly easy being on a 250 which was supplied. First time on a bike. Im 6'4 220 and im looking at buying a used 01 zx9r at a damn good price 6000 (nothing wrong with it) Would this be a good choice. Fellow riders say yeah. Im not into racing and all. Just cruising is my main thing. Not trying any tricks or anything stupid. Just for pleasure. So what do u all think, yes or no?

Thanx

If your only experience is the MSF: no.

Your size isn't a huge factor. Ergos on the ZX-9 are better than most sportbikes but there are better beginner bikes that will fit a big guy better like Bandit 600 or ZR-7S.
