Has anyone tried different pegs on the 2001 RSV?I had heard R6 pegs, and maybe others, fit easily.
Lockhart Phillips makes cheap pegs( under $30) that would set the foot position back and down about 10 mm. They also have Pole Position( about $70) pegs which have a lot of adjustability...would be like Moto Tek's rear sets ( they just would like as beautiful).
so...has anyone tried these or any OEM pegs on thier bikes?

I never heard of other OEM pegs fiting on Aprilias... Would be cool if some other passenger pegs might be used as well.

I ended up going with a set of Gilles rearsets:

Those are sweet...either those or the MotoTeks would be on my bike....but 2 kids in college has me looking at the under $100 setup

What footpegs from lockhart phillips will give you the extra adjustability, or actually move them down the 10mm, do you have an actual part number? I'm 6'3" and would like to get the legs down and the knees unbent as much as practical. The more expensive sets, can you adjust them down more than stock, and if so, any idea how much?

I don't believe LP sells any rearsets for Aprilias... I could be wrong, but they're pretty light on anything not Japanese or Ducati.

yeah, they don't have aprilia listed, they have a couple ducati's though...

LP does not list Aprilia..BUT...I remember reading that R6 pegs fit the RSv with a little filing. That's why I asked if anyone has swapped pegs. I think I'm going to buy thier cheaper pegs and try them.
