Dude, R1's can only dream about sniffin' ZX-12 tail pipe, Suzuki has the only two bikes that can actually do it (Busa, GSXR-1000).

As for the article, it says there's more on that story, 'inside MCN', what does that mean? How do you get inside MCN, I'm a member and everything, but I can't find more on that story anywhere on their web site.

Cool @ss article so far though, I'd love to see actual dyno numbers on it compared to a 2001 12R, and a top speed run with both bikes hooked up to the black box so there is no restriction!!!

Motorcycledaily.com has a two part Riders Review on the new 12R - very favorable - sounds like Kawasaki got it right. Great pics too - Candy Thunder Blue model.

Motorcycle.com posted dyno numbers - impressive - 164.7 and 91.7 if I remember correctly.

Thinking pretty hard about the new 12R in RED...... Piped and remapped = 175+ rwhp!! 550 lbs though - having a hard time accepting 82 more pounds than my 98' 9R.

Also considering the 998 kit from Muzzy. Has anyone done the 998 kit with pipe for the 9R and dyno'd it?
