...no mods.
I keep looking at the $1200 pipes for it and thinking that I could make a much better "tone" if I spent that same money on a new Les Paul or a Stratocaster. /images/icons/tongue.gif

Is there any way to mount the license plate even remotely legally with the high or underseat Renes? As much as I love the look, I will be commuting on my Falco (T-minus 4 paychecks and counting!) and don't want to be even more of a cop magnet than I already am.
That being said, what are the consequences of having your plate all hiddden like that? Is it a moving violation? If I get pulled over because of that and nothing else what's the maximum fine, and how strict are the piggies about enforcing that kinda stuff?

DB - I don't think its a moving violation - I am working on a few ideas for a plate moutning that is a little more legal than it's current position. If you stand behind you can see the plate, it just isn't lit and is certainly in a slightly hidden position. Oh well, the look/sound of the rene's is worth a ticket if I get one /images/icons/smile.gif
