That's about average, remember everything (except wine and cheese) cost about 1/3 more than here.
I paid $100 a day ( 1 Frank per cc ) in France for a KLX650, that included the insurance.
And expect to shell out about $5 a galon for gas.

the 700 for 7 days is the out of door price which includes tax and insurance. the monsters arent too bad on gas. on the 750 i get about 190 miles on 4 gallons.
Italy is not as expensive as the UK or France or even germany. and the dollar currently has a slight edge over the Euro.

yup, but i have zero engine mods. my tank holds about 4.2 gallons, the light comes on at 160-170 miles and i still have 0.8 gallons left(according to the manual) but i usually get gas at about 180-190miles. and it takes in about 4.0 gallons(although the manual says 3.8) when i fill up.
The 748 does about 145-155 before the light comes on, and its supposed to have about 1 gallon after the light comes on, i get gas in it usually at 160-70 miles. The 48 has carbon fiber cans. Going long distance(read all highway miles) the light on the 748 came on at 175-185 miles.

I usually get gas within 15 miles after the light comes on. There really isn't a standard for where the sensor is set to turn the fuel light on.... Besides, I've only got a 125 mile azz anyway. After that I gotta get off of the bike and stretch.

Woo hoo... eNovice! It took a year and 5 days.. seems like I've been running my mouth on here longer than that!

I think we have different posting habits. LOL

I've run another 30 miles on the light with no problem, still a good amount of fuel left in the 748.

I'm also getting about 160-170 miles on my Monster 750 before I need to take a pit stop. (NO major Mods yet)
Not quite sure when my light comes on, because it is on ALL of the time. I still haven't worked that problem out...

I've done 160 miles on one tank of fuel yesterday, including a 180km/h blast for 5 minutes... Not bad.
I could finally take her to that speed after her first service, she was steady as a rock!!

Be afraid, be very afraid!
