As usual, when knowledge is needed, time to turn to my fellow esportbike members. I recieved a 520 chain a while back from a friend. It was a chain from an AFAM sprocket kit. The chain is labeled as a 520OSR. Will this particular 520 chain be strong enough to handle 145rwhp? I know that some 520's wont and some will. Unsure about this one. Any answers?
Next question. Thinking of adding another bike to my understocked collection of only 1. Only three bikes turn my screws right now, and all three for different reasons. But if spending the money for new one, want to makesure i purchase the right 2nd bike. Choices are:
1. GSXR750 - pure nutter value, screaming top end and
HUGE fun factor.
2. RC51 - something different from the four cylinders i
have always owned. Great handling. Tad
heavy? Opinions?
3. ZX12R - Great power and speed. Comfort, speed,
long trips, speed, passengers, and, oh yeah..
.... did i mention speed?
Well, there you have it. Any info or opinions appreciated. Especially funny ones. Now i know some guys are gonna tell me a GSXR1000. I'll be honest and say that they are excellent bikes, i really enjoy riding my buddies. But i get more enjoyment out of the riding the 750. Its just a funner bike in my opinion. I plan on keeping my Y2K R1, so it wouldnt benefit me to have 2 liter bikes that fall into the same category when i am trying to buy a bike that has completetly different feeling to it than my R1, and in that respect, the GSXR and R1 are essentially similar. Both big tourge and high horsepower
race replicas. Do you understand? I hope so. Thanks in advance.
if it's got handlebars, i can drive it!
