I havn't been to Second creek in some time now and I heard it's pretty chewed up by the cars, similar to the way it was in 1999. I've heard of re-paving projects for Second Creek and CDI, is there any truth to that? For CDI are they are not going to expand it, are they planning to do anything to make it safer? And what it the phone # out there? I can't find it in any of the phone books. Thanks!

i cant say for cdir, i have never used the track. 2ndCR is closed for maintance till tuesday, the track is in good condition for a club track, 303-371-6661, Bob. when the days get longer they will have motorcycle evenings. sat&sunday they are booked solid. call to confirm. $45 per 1/2day, punch card 4 1/2 dyas and the 5th free.

IMI is i25 and the Erie exit (north of hwy 7 exit) east on a dirt road 2mi, it is a tight cart track $20 for the whole day. best to do the week days with a bike.

Pueblo Motor Sports, 100mi south of denver, its pavement is the same as 2ndCR, its run by the county/city there. i have a contact if your interested. it is a faster track with a long straight a way and some sweepers.\

thats it, a friend moved to Salt Lake and found they have not track facilities.

i25 N to the Erie exit, just past the hwy 7 exit. go east 2mi on a dirt road, they are on the right. i have their phone number, i thhink, at work, monday. last summer they had a web page or site, it was not updated for some time though

last summer people on sportbikes.net / mountain went there a lot. sk8 the sportbikes moderator is a jerk.

the surface, some turns messed up, just like 2ndCR and Pueblo. the carts have really really soft tires and this junk is on the track. they say it dosnt effect the bikes but the bike tires seem to pick up this stuff. if your want to practice corners this is the place.

the carts are effective, being built for these tracks. they are low and fast and hard to keep track of when your are on the bike. the week day seems the only time to use this track.

i went there a while back on saturday and there were lots of carts, no bikes. a good friend last summer rode there a lot. i might try it, its only $20. i live near 2ndCR.

IMI is actually a really fun place to ride, especially on new tires, bike etc.. Can't beat it for $20 either, Except it can be hard to talk the guys into running it clockwise (my preference) Any of you guys thinkig of going up there soon?

I would be up for a ride there. I should have frame sliders soon I hope. Would like to do a few other mods before I get my bike on the track this year. But will be ready soon.

I'm actually going to have about 2 weeks off (from May 10th until after Memorial Day).. We might have to schedule a meeting down there. Be a good way to warm up for the season and for the 3 day ride...

I wouldn't be surprised if IMI didn't require leathers. I'm thinking of going on a mon, tues, wed on the next day we get aroung 65F (if that ever happens)

I would love to get involved in a trackday at Pueblo if someone is interesed in getting something organized.

I drove the rental carts at IMI and the kid running the rentals seemed to think you needed full leathers. My frame sliders will be here in a week or so and I will be ready for some more track time.

Yes I wan to go back to PMI road course. How about a week from Sat or Sun if it looks to be warm. The more we get the better. When does the track start to get booked on the weekends? i could get a week day of..still no real job!

most tracks are booked up on sat&sunday, need to call Pueblo to find out for sure. second creek is booked. imi has lots of carts on the week end.

fear is the lack of desire and pain is weakness leaving the body.

my left shoulder is more functional, mentally i still have dragons to eliminate, friday 3-21-2 i am going to drop off the bike at CO Power Sports (104th Ave) to have the last bit of stuff done on it.
