Hey all, just wanted to say hi and see what was up. What happened to all the posts? Did the server crash or something?

Well, physical therapy starts Friday (tomorrow) at 8am, so wish me luck all. This should be interesting.

Apparently the boards crashed...lost all of the old posts. The upside is that the page is MUCH faster with 50k old posts loaded. /images/icons/smile.gif

So, let us know how the PT goes...should be LOTS of fun..

It was a rough week all in all. But it was a good week.

Had 3 PT sessions this week and I've gone up from only being able to tollerate 40lbs of weight of pressure on my left leg last friday, to 80lbs of weight just yesterday. I've gone from only being able to bend my left knee 80 degrees last friday, to 100 degrees yesterday(friday). Granted, I cant keep it bend at 100 for all that long, but I can do it, and its not too painful and nor does it make me uncomfortable or anything, well, depending on how long I keep it there /images/icons/wink.gif. I'm learning how to go up the stairs with a cain (and a seriously heavy duty hand rail) and back down. All in all its going good, just very painful and tough at times, but I'm progressing well.

Sad thing is I wont see leaps and bounds like this for too much longer as the closer I get to "normal" the slower things go, or rather seem to go. But I'm real hopeful and all. Still using the walker and wheelchair but hope to be moving to crutchs once my leg can do 100lbs of pressure, or whenever the PT lady says to.

My therpist is really cool, and female/images/icons/smile.gif, but she's married/images/icons/frown.gif, but she's real gentle and kind/images/icons/smile.gif, and is just a really kind person/images/icons/smile.gif, but she's married/images/icons/frown.gif.... hehe /images/icons/wink.gif

Anyway, I'm awake to take my medicine, take care everybody, I'll talk to ya more soon.

Duane

i broke my collar bone in december, not a big thing. a month ago, starting with 2 pounds, i returned to working out again. i am up to 50% back and should be doing more.

i was back to second creek track last week. i was slow since it felt not everthing was back together (bike included).

a big thing for me was that my doctor broke his collar bone 10y ago. he let me feel it, it was rough and disjoint like mine. any ways he broke it in a second place a time later after its first fracture. apparently the first fracture, even thugh rough and disjoint was sufficent to not re break.

Hey Duane!
Long time!
Sounds as if you are doing great! Haven't heard from ya in a while.
Glad you are progressing! Just keep at it, and before long you will be out chasing the girls again.
