That is pretty amazing. I was expecting one of her legs to get caught on the outside of the rim, while the other one was in the inside.
Or better yet, she would rotate too much and end up sitting in it.

Actually, if you watch it a frame at a time, it looks like she comes down next to the basket and maybe somebody just moves the net at the same time (with fishing line or something).

I think they figured everybody would be gawking at her hot body and not notice that she didn't even go through the hoop. I must admit, it worked on me the first 200 times I watched it. :blush:

LabRodent: yeah you're probably right that it was CGI, pretty convincing though...

OFG: She did actually go through the hoop... You can clearly see her ankle is obscured by the front rim of the hoop and the back rim is obscured by her ankle..

In this second image it is tough to spot but there is a bit of an orange blob on the near side of her face (which I think to be the hoop) and you can see where the base of her skull hit the left side of the hoop...

That second picture almost looks like a double exposure. I'm not sure how her shoulder blades could be in that position if they had just gone through the hoop. /wwwthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif
