Hey guys is this a bad crack. I have the chance to buy this carbon fiber hood and it looks like this.

Is the fibers broken? From the pic it looks like only the rezin cracked. Grind away the cracked rezin and replace it with new rezin. After that wet sand it and buff it. Then clear coat the whole hood. Might show a bit but will be good as new.

klr...how much would that hood cost you and what kind of car is it for? Also, is it a street hood (with frame) or a race hood (without frame)? These things make a difference.

I've heard that if you put a big honda H on it is the same as ram air too!!! But anyways that is a pretty sweet looking hood and if I didn't dislike my accord so much I would soop up a civic or something but instead I am going the big hick truck way. Diesel trucks here I come....ye ha!!!!
