I have a question for the riders up here in Canada. Where do you guys buy accessories for your bikes from. Local dealers or from online stores such as Parts411. I am looking to buy a race stand and fender eliminator kit. Any recommendations where I should buy from? I usually buy my stuff in Alberta when I go there as there is less tax. Let me know where you guys shop. Thanks.

i dont like waiting around for internet orders. if i can get it at a dealer or have them order it for me they can usually get it way quicker. problem is u might get hosed on the price unless you get a discount there.

I find it depends on the item whether or not my local dealer has decent pricing. Big ticket items are almost always cheaper on the net whereas small stuff is just easier to pick up at the dealer because of extra shipping costs etc.

I can usually get as good or better pricing from a local dealer. I also tend to spend money in local shops that spend money on supporting local racers, race events and sportbike rallies./images/icons/wink.gif With the exchange rate and possible border fees its harder to find good deals in the US.
