I dropped my new set of tires to be mounted and balanced on my original rims (I have Marchesinis on now) for the track days.
The guy says he can't balance the tires unless the rotors are on... So now I will have to bring the bike in, take the marchesinis off, take the rotors off, do the swap..etcc...doesn't sound right to me, anybody has any thoughts? Thanks

if you want your wheels to be 100% correctly balanced the wheels must be as they are used ie with rotors and depending on the equipment the store uses it is possible that the machine clamps around one of your rotors
