I have a S&W 1006 and a .45 frame w/a Delta Elite slide/barrel assembly. Also, a pristine Colt Delta Elite, 98%l which I don't fire.
The 10 is a sweet round; very accurate too, as much kinetic energy as a .45, plus less drop at extended range.
Much prefer the 10 over the 40 short & weak.
Am currently looking to find the Kimber & Springfield 10s; but they only made them for a yr; so hard to find in California; where if it doesn't meet 'safety' specs, it can only be old via consignment sales.
