Yep. It will fit just fine. I know this only because, when I got my rims powder coated, and the shop ordered and put new Evo Dragons on, they mistakenly orderd the 120/70 instead of the stock 120/60. Now, I did not realize this until I got home, and we had re-installed the wheel. Not wanting to disassemble the bike all over again, I am stuck with them. Just know (from what I have been told) the 120/70 will definately alter the way the bike turns, and the 120/60 will be much easier to turn, while 120/70 will take more effort.

I did get out on Friday for the first ride on the new rubber, and did not notice a huge difference in turning, but then again, I was toolin around town, not ridin the twisties.

I run a BT010 front on my 996. So far I can't tell any difference from the Pilot Sport that I had on it. I also run the 120/70 but only because it came stock on the bike.

If I'm shootin at ya and ya stay still, your probably safe.

748s come fitted with the 60 up front as stock while the 996 comes with the 70. Maybe you all can shed some light...I thought I read somewhere that the 70 would improve "something" over that of the 60. What was it that I read?

Duc, I have heard that the 170 series allows for a larger contact patch in addition to providing the rim with more protection from road hazards. That is why most manufacturers have switched from a 60 series profile to larger 65/70 series profiles. I think that I read that a while back on the Ducati Index.

Just my .02 on the BT10's... THEY SUCK!

My 955i came stock with the BT's, next set of tires put Dunlop 207's on... with my 748, I've been riding on the Pirelli Evos which are even better, that is I like the crowning of the tire better.

The BT's seem to get a little more greasy than the other tires... I'm no expert on tires, racing or motorcycles by any means of anyone's imagination... just my humble observation.
