$9502.94 OTD at Des Plaines Yamaha 20 min west of Chicago. That is including tax and reg.
$8,999 with out tax and reg.

why would you post out the door price?why not price paid plus whatever dealer prep if any. taxes and title,license vary from state to state you are comparing apples to oranges.

I payed 9k out the door but my point was i would like to know what people payed for the bike not the taxes since they vary from state to state smart---

I was over there today asking and the sales guy wanted 10,299 sticker. I just laughed and walked out!!

mongo380, ask for the sales manager at Des Plaines Yamaha. He will move down on price. I got my price locked in October when I put down a deposit. I think back then they thought it was going to be a soft year for sales do to the down economy. When I was in there last saturday they has 3 R1's on the floor and I know there getting more in april. Though color choice is limited.
