true. i had a patient playing possum after he got tazered. he convinced everyone he was unresponsive up until i flicked his eye lashes and waved a little ammonia inhalant in front of his nose. hahaha.

Guy was allowed to be there - the security guard who called the cops later said he regretted it because it got so out of hand and he wasn't aware the guy had been allowed to stay there. I'm not shocked that the guy caught a beating, but I think that suggests a problem in and of itself - I SHOULD be shocked. Completely unnecessary, no need to put that kind of smackdown on someone who wasn't doing anything wrong, certainly not with multiple people restraining him. Yes, he shouldn't have resisted, and yes, that ramps things up, but was his resistance worth that? I like the pile-on at the end, gotta love NYPD. Protect and serve.
