Men Riding Bitch

Just wondering how many of you ladies have taking your hubby/s.o. or kids out on the back of your bikes? What was it like the first time you carried a passenger and how did you learn?

Has anyone gotten any weird looks for having a male passenger?

Well she addressed this thread to the ladies . I've riden bitch only once in my life, my buddy and I were going to get my bike and then go for a short ride. I've also had a couple guys ride bitch on the back of my bike, but it was absolutely necessary as we were out on a ride and someone wrecked. All the other guys either had solo cowls or claimed they didn't know how to ride with a passenger.

What's funny is this is when I was learning to ride on my 89 GSXR 750, had never rode with a passenger before, but I said what the heck, I have to learn somehow. So I rode home with a 6'3" guy on the back. He was grateful for the ride home after wrecking.

I've given rides in the desert on the back of my dirtbike before... just to the bathroom, stuff like that. Never doubled up on the street... always felt like, with a heavier passenger in the back, the balance would be off... and I don't like the responsibility of it, really.

I've already installed the rear seat cowl and removed the rear pegs of the Triumph!

I can agree with your sentiment.... riding with a passenger is not as much fun. Well, usually..

Some years back I had my little bro(16 at the time) on the back, it wasn't that bad. But we did get LOTS of weird looks.

Hetero guys are so touchy about not seeming masculine or looking "g-a-y".

I have and would again give a guy a ride. Its not so bad as long as he don't bonk my helmet with his or get too creative with where he puts his hands to hold on
