and you base that on what?

[/ QUOTE ]What are you basing your opinion on! A riding buddy just sold his RC51 this summer because he absolutely hated it. My 01 R6 has been to the shop for one thing and one thing only, tires. Must get boring in the Honda forum when there are so few RC51 owners in there. : :

Rider6, go read my post on 600RR review in DR. That might help you understand yourself a little better. :

Re: My new R1 is blowing my mind!

Ive owned a few Honda street bikes and they have always surprised me with fit and quality. BUT. When I went into the dealership this past weekend I was out right SHOCKED at the 2003 R6 Quality. Everthing fit and meshed perfectly. The ergo's were like a glove(for me anyways)too.

Re: My new R1 is blowing my mind!

simply ask yourself if you are happy with YOUR bike, if you can answer yes then leave it at that. You guys kill me how idiotic you get over someone else's opinion of yoru manufacturer. I could honetly care less. I have owned a decent amount of bikes and ridden even more than that and they all have their flaws in my eyes but I can honestly say everytime I toss/fling/throw/launch my leg over my R1 I am filled with joy.

Some of you really do need to grow up. Who cares if my R1's tranny is a lil clunky going from N to 1st, I know it is but that little imperfection is clearly offset by the myriad of bonuses not to mention the chicas like this bike ALOT.

Re: My new R1 is blowing my mind!

Chris I did not see a LS R1 on Saturday.

Twist as for the ladies liking the bike, well it is from what I have experienced riding with a few other guys on differnt bikes and when we asked the gals if they would like to go for a ride they (majority) wanted to ride with me, so it was either the bike or me you choose, although 18+ inch arms does help, :
