Re: Red Rims on an R6!!!

Kitty, additionally, RED is the hardest color to powder coat as the heat process/cycle usually results in an orangy/red color.

Re: Red Rims on an R6!!!

I hate to bother you with this WetWork, but would you mind terribly, since you did such a good job on the R6, do a blue set for an FZ1? I was thinking of doing it but a visual would help greatly in the decision

Re: Red Rims on an R6!!!

I agree, it's too much red (and red is my favorite color too). It reminds me of the green rims on the Kawis. I love the Kawi green but not on the rims. I prefer gun metal grey on the rims if any other color than black.

WetWork, what is that other way to affix color. Can't remember what that is called. Don't know if paint would really stick would it?

Re: Red Rims on an R6!!!

Of course it will "stick". Your wheels are painted from the factory. The reason we're talking about powdercoating is because it is way more durable.(less rock chips) If you want them painted you can send them my way.

Re: Red Rims on an R6!!!

Is it the same paint that would be used to repaint parts on the bike?
