Hooking up the double bubble windscreen, full compliment of sliders, Spiegler lines, Yosh TRC-D 3/4 system, PC V, Evotech Elim kit, front flush mounts, and tail light integrator kit this weekend. I have about 200 miles on it, so by no means have I explored even 1/8th of what it has to offer, but...
-Clutch lets out real soon, and it takes off, took some getting used to, stalled twice!
-Power is extremely smooth and steady, as well as being deceptively fast.
-Sucker is heavy! Soon to be partially mitigated by a 3/4 exhaust system.
-Sucker runs hot! Soon to be partially mitigated by a 3/4 exhaust system.
-Exhaust is fugly! Soon to be completely mitigated by a 3/4 Yoshimura system.
-I think the 190 rear adds "heft" to the maneuverability. I will throw a 180 on.
-Bodywork is EXTREMELY easy to remove... quick release bolts (akin to DZUS) and a multitude of plastic push pins make short work of a usually tedious task (for me)
-Suspension was set up tonight, but haven't had a chance to ride it yet. As usual, I used the Sportrider suggested street setup. No special tools required for the setup, just screw driver, hex keys, and sockets.
-After having the GSXR, I was spoiled with the mirror integrated signals and very clean rear end. The R1 steps back in time with the turn signal stalks.
