I feel compelled to copy+paste but I won't.

Since you've have a new R1 every year for the past 100 years do you notice how wide the new R1 is verse the outgoing models? Get ride of those stock cans and trim the bike down with a set of Akrapovics like the WSBK bike. Looks much nicer.

NS...here is the stock R1 exhaust followed by a GYT-R fitment and then the Akrapovic (which I did not know was pronounced A-crop-a-vitch) from Ben Spies' World Superbike machine.

I trust you'll do the right thing.

I have to say, that the second choice isnīt bad at all... nice clean setup. I just wonder how long it will stay that clean...

The ones on the Fiat bike? The slight oval pipes look really odd on the R1...I don't know if it has something to do with the small spacing between them or the location of the brake light but they look funny to me. Or maybe it's because I've watched the Akrapovic on Spies' bike all season and anything else is going to look funny in comparison.

Yes, the Fiat-Rectum Donīt the akrapovic pipes look like ovals from an angle too? I think the camera-perspective is the reason.

But I agree, the bike with the spies-end looks cleaner, for all the crap like turn-signals and plateholder are gone... But i still prefer the Fiat look...
