I've just seen the Akrapovic promotional video- some sort of a production plant tour. It's amazing. When I ever get into that region I'll pay them a visit and do a real factory tour. They use machinery there that is so exact and versatile you could build musical instruments with.

No GYT-R exhaust yet?
okay, i can confirm they now have an exhaust. as i globetrott from one end of the country to the other, i have now bugged out of cali and am now on the ground in indy. i stumbled into a yamaha dealers only room at the convention center, but before i was kicked out i managed to eyeball a gyt-r equipped '09. i may be able to snag a pic tommorrow. but from what i saw, it was nothing to write home about. don't right ugly it was. they were too narrow and thin like mv pipes. ughhh.

deep down, the motorcycle industry has a problem we dont talk about at parties...

or does it...? graves yamaha knows that of which the visionary S1 speaks. all aboard... the GRAVE-Y train. all's they need to finish it off is a solo tail with an undertray. compare/contrast to the opening pics. nice, clean, and weight saving. take notes people... this is how it's done...

Here, check out the sound of them on the new R1:

The more I see of the new R1 the more I get to like it. I still think it's not the most beautiful bike (I dig the latest R6 and CBR600RR from the way they look) but the engine just got me - as well as the concept to centralize and lower all masses as much as possible.

If you go to the Graves website they have 2 different versions already for the 09 and the shortie (drag?) pipe is BA!!! The sound from it would sell the bike all by itself.

Always keep the "RUBBER SIDE DOWN"
