They've reached a point where they should just take the damned pillion spot off... Just like the RC51; if someone is stupid enough to want to take a passenger: make them pay for that seat.

How much is the fish?

Wow...I'm not sure what to make of that upper at all. Don't like the lights one bit and the ram air just to the outside of them?

The 2008s will sell out quickly!

Absolutely horrible.

If you can't beat me on the track. I will let you try and beat me off.

While I agree in principle, the truth is that 80% of sportbikes are bought for the image. For that crowd carrying your woman on the back is very important so the manufacturers have to compromise.

Is it possible that Yamaha actually copied HONDA with the design of the side plastics? And that exhaust - it's like they were hoping guys would like the bike a little more with some junk in the trunk.

That is truly odd looking. the tail is almost speed-triple esque.

giggity ...!.....giggity boo! ...christmas whoop whoop whoop... ! .....! ....

100% correct . Yamaha depends on the posers to buy up the R1s and get to all of the local bike night shindigs with their hags on the back .

The ass-kicking made itīs eyes pop out.
Itīs not one bit sexy. The fairing looks like a hookers skirt, thatīs being pulled up just to reveal some nasty cellulite. :barf

Itīs rare, that I canīt find a spot that I like on a bike.
