Honda worried about Rossi on M1

Honda won't release Rossi from his contract with them to test the M1 until the end of December. http://moto.racing-live.com/en/index...14123019.shtml Thanks again to Honda showing their sprotsmanship and gratitude for what Rossi did for them. :

Makes sense to me? Sounds entirely fair.

yeah, a contract is a contract. the 12/31 termination date is something everyone has known about for the last 24 months.

[/ QUOTE ] You mean like when Rossi left Honda after all Honda has done for Rossi? It was his choice and a contract is a contract. Rossi will do just fine.

Re: Honda worried about Rossi on M1

Correct he is still under contract for the next month and a half. It's only a month and a half right. So whats the big deal with Honda not letting him get some riding time on the M1. I see Honda as the "Machine" A stone cold regiment of a company. Just look at the way they treated Colin Edwards and Rossi. Don't think Rossi just left because he wanted a challenge, there was alot more to it than that. So why won't Honda let Rossi get some saddle time on the M1, they do have the best machine, money and collection of riders right? Or could they feel just a little worried?

Oh shut the hell up cry baby : : ::! A contract is contract and the rules are applied accordinly. First off quit speading propoganda about Honda screwing Edwards. This is the fact of what happend to Colin. He was under contract with Honda UK! Nicky Hayden was under contract with Honda USA! Honda USA is the strong arm out side of Honda Japan! Honda USA simply out muscle Honda UK in getting Nicky Hayden, to Honda Japan. Honda Japan did offer Colin Edwards on RC211V. Unfortunetly that bike was not sponsered by Michelin, so Colin refused the ride. If Honda had screwed Colin the way you and others put it. Then why the hell would he be so happy to get back with them??? They say a picture is worth a thousand words! So incase you did not see this pic of Colin, after the ride on Sete's RC211V. Take a look...

[/ QUOTE ] Like you said, it's only a month and a half, no big deal.
Colins could have had the ride with Honda in GP but turned it down. Is anybody calling Kawasaki a ""Machine" A stone cold regiment of a company" for dragging E. Boz all over the AMA for years on the old ZX7RR, just to build the ZX10R, pull out of Superbike, and dump E. Boz? No.

I love it!! Must have struck a cord on that one. : Yeah, sure!! It was alot more than just tires for Colin not wanting to take the Honda GP ride. How about it not being a factory bike. I wish I had some of the comments Colin said about the situation with Honda after he won his last world title. Honda is Honda. Your going to tell me that the 1 time A.M.A champion had priority over the 2 time W.S.B champion? Sure that makes alot of sense. : Colin is one of my favorite riders and a picture does say a thousand words. He is happy he's on a more competitive bike. I'm also sure he's happy because he will show Honda that they made a mistake.
