Recommended Helmet Communicators?
I want to get to helmet communicators so I can talk with my friend while we ride together on separate bikes. Since we'll normally be riding within 100-200 feet of each other, what would be a good communicator to get for city use at a relatively low cost?
Thanks!
Greg

Re: Recommended Helmet Communicators?
the low model of the chatterbox is perfect for y'all then. my friends and i have the 5 mie radius one. cuz sometimes we send someone on a sighting lap before hitting a road.
but if y'all stay within a couple hundred feet of each other then there's no need to get the five mile.
if you can get a couple more people to get in on it with you, you might get a better price.

Check this site out.

I would recomend the HJC-FRS model because it allows you to comunicate with all but the HJC-90 model so if your friends upgrade you won't have to.

Re: Recommended Helmet Communicators?
Hey Allan, do you mean the DYNAMIC NOISE REDUCTION STEREO F/F HEADSET and can you really talk with those around 70mph like they claim.. I'm looking to get one too and had one of the older model Chatterboxs and they sucked.. I was looking at AudioCom but man those are some expensive systems they have.. Does anyone have the Pro-Pack Plus.. does that have the DYNAMIC NOISE REDUCTION STEREO F/F HEADSET?? Is it worth getting that for the VOX??

Re: Recommended Helmet Communicators?
I have the Noise Reducing Headset for my GMRSx1.
I wouldnt bother using the stock headset and mic since its so noisey at 60 mph. You also have to remember the mic is noise cancelling not the speakers, so who ever your talking too will reap the benefit not you.
